Love it!
@Micah Cre Making vegetables something you actually WANT to eat = a goal for me!
Delish!
Sounds good. What is your favorite protein bar if you're in a hurry?
@Dr J Partyka some people love to microwave them for ~30 seconds to soften them up. If you venture into the sucralose-sweetened ones, there is a chocolate chip cookie dough one that I sometimes "treat" myself too - when you heat it up it resembles a warm cookie!
@Sarah Isenberg I'll try Quest
I was into interval training for 21 min on an elliptical. I need to get back into a regular routine.
@Dr J Partyka 20 min. is a great goal - you can almost always fit that into your schedule! I scale back to 20 minute workouts at busy times, like the holidays. Did an intense 20 min. kettlebell ladder this morning, in fact. Then on with the show! See if you can book yourself 1-2x for next week as a goal. Mini-goals can help get you back into the habit!
Interesting... I have found that 4-5 short workouts per week can be more effective than 2 long, strenuous workouts per week. Great post!
@Sean Rossiter yes! you have more in the tank if you're not wasting yourself with those LONG workouts.
@Jimmy Mann - it's hard to write about food a lot . . . end up having to talk myself out of eating when I'm not really hungry - only craving certain things b/c I've been reporting on them!! On the other hand . . . . I LOVE TO EAT.
