⁣⁣Holidays and Your Pets | By Jen Buhler | Animal Kingdom @Pharmative
As we enter the holiday season, people begin to get excited for lots of delicious food, spending time with family, and preparing for lots of football. Of course we can’t forget about the days after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, a day filled with crazy mall shopping and online sales. For vet techs everywhere, we begin to get ready for a very different kind of crazy day after Thanksgiving. We begin preparing the delicious meals of high fiber food, spending time ordering lots of metronidazole (Flagyl, a G.I. antibiotic), and preparing for lots of fluid pumps to be running. For us, it’s National “My Dog Ate Turkey Bones and is Having Diarrhea” Day!
